Dhaka, May 10 -- World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day was celebrated in Sylhet. Thursday (May 8) is the 179th birth anniversary of the founder of the world's largest humanitarian organization, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the abstract symbol of humanity. World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day is celebrated in different countries of the world to commemorate that day.
