Dhaka, June 1 -- The World No Tobacco Day was observed in Khulna on Saturday, with the theme 'Exposing the tricks of tobacco companies, building a tobacco and nicotine-free Bangladesh'.

Divisional Commissioner of Khulna Md. Firoz Sarkar was the chief guest at the discussion meeting, held at the conference room of Khulna Deputy Commissioner( DC) in the morning on the occasion of the day.

The chief guest said that tobacco and smoking are very harmful to health. Many people start their journey towards drugs from smoking. Tobacco damages almost all organs of the human body, he added.
