Dhaka, Sept. 8 -- Bangladesh cricketer Jaker Ali Anik spoke with confidence ahead of the 2025 Asia Cup, making it clear before leaving the country that the team is not traveling merely to participate but with the ambition of winning the title.
In this year's tournament, Bangladesh has been placed in Group 'B' alongside Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. Winning at least two out of the three matches will secure them a place in the Super Four stage.
Speaking to the media at the airport before departure, Jaker said, "We are going with the aim of becoming champions. The preparation has been very good, and the entire team is in a positive mindset, which will definitely reflect in our performance."
