Dhaka, Oct. 4 -- Bangladesh Cricket team defeated Afghanistan Cricket team by four wickets in their first Twenty20 International (T20I) match by four wickets at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday night.
Electing to bat first, Afghanistan piled up a fighting total of 151 for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.In reply, Bangladesh coasted home scoring 153 runs for the loss of six wickets when they had eight balls to spare.
Openers Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Hasan Tamim put on together 109 runs off 11.4 overs in the opening stand.But later, Bangladesh lost six wickets scoring 118 for the loss of six wickets. Thus, the Tigers faced a batting collapse in that match.
