Dhaka, Dec. 20 -- Taking advantage of the tense situation created by the death of Inqilab Manch spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi, incidents like clashes, vandalism and arson have taken place across the country. Cultural centres have not been spared from this fury.

In particular, the incident of vandalism at the 'Chhayanaut' building has created deep concern and alarm in the cultural arena.

On Friday morning, popular musician Shayan Chowdhury Arnab shared pictures of the destruction and expressed his concern.

He wrote, "We have to actively participate and vote. otherwise we musicians will be in danger. Look what they did to Chhayanaut! The only way we can fight back is to vote and encourage others to vote too."
