Dhaka, Sept. 13 -- Water levels at 51 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise while 70 stations recorded fall.
Among the 127 monitored river stations, water levels at six stations have remained steady while no stations are flowing above the danger level, a bulletin issued by the FFWC said here on Friday.
In the past 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred in some areas of Rangpur division, and heavy rainfall in some areas of Dhaka and Chattogram divisions, as well as in the upstream regions of Tripura and Assam in India, reports BSS.
