Dhaka, Aug. 30 -- Gono Odhikar Parishad (GOP) President Nurul Haque, who was hospitalised after being injured in an alleged attack by the law enforcers, has regained consciousness.

However, he is still at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). This information was shared on Nurul Haque Nur's Facebook page on Saturday morning, August 30. Earlier around 12:30am today, Nur was shifted to the ICU from cabin.

In a press conference on Friday night, August 29, Gono Odhikar Parishad Secretary Rashed Khan alleged that members of the Bangladesh army and police jointly attacked their party leaders and activists while they were preparing for a scheduled press conference in front of the party office.
