Dhaka, Jan. 7 -- Injured survivors of the deadly fire in Benapole Express train in the city's Gopibagh, who are now undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS), are in critical condition.

"None of all eight injured passengers is out of danger as their respiratory tracts were burnt in the incident," SHNIBPS coordinator Dr Samanta Lal Sen said at a press briefing on Saturday, reports BSS.

The eight injured survivors are: Asif Mohammod Khan (30), Dr Koushik Biswas (32), Nafis Alom (22), Masud Rana (31), Daizy Akter Ratna (40), Rihan (6), Md Iqbal (48) and Dihan (11).
