Dhaka, March 26 -- US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce has addressed concerns regarding Bangladesh's national security and press freedom, following reports of Islamist extremist threats in some Indian media and the alleged unlawful imprisonment of journalists.
Speaking at a press briefing in Washington, DC, on Monday, Bruce reaffirmed the United States' commitment to counterterrorism efforts and emphasised the importance of diplomatic engagement with Bangladesh.
