Dhaka, Dec. 24 -- Election Commissioner Md Anwarul Islam Sarker on Tuesday said the parliamentary polls scheduled for February 12 must be "the best election in the country's history," expressing strong optimism that the Election Commission is on track to achieve that goal.
Speaking at a coordination meeting with field-level administrative and law enforcement officials at Nirbachon Bhaban in Dhaka, Sarker stressed that the commission expects flawless cooperation in conducting the election. He cautioned that even minor failures in coordination would not be tolerated by the EC.
