Dhaka, Feb. 20 -- Savar Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Abubakar has set an example by distributing submersible deep tube wells allocated by the government through lottery. Under the safe water supply project, 220 applications were submitted from various people for the installation of submersible deep tube wells allocated in Savar upazila in the fiscal year 2024-2025.
As the number of applicants was high, he selected the beneficiaries through lottery. This decision of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer is highly appreciated in the area. In order to ensure transparency and accountability in Savar Upazila, it was decided to install deep tube wells through lottery.
