Dhaka, March 17 -- United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres concluded his four-day visit to Bangladesh on Sunday, with a focus on supporting the country's reform initiatives and fostering national unity.
Guterres expressed strong support for Bangladesh's ongoing reforms, which he believes could help the nation become "one of the most perfect democracies in the world."
His visit included high-level discussions with the Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, and senior officials, as well as engagements with political leaders, civil society representatives, and young Bangladeshis.
