Dhaka, Sept. 18 -- Volunteers of Animal Lovers of Kalapara branch under Patuakhali rescued six feet long two Burmese pythons in coastal Kalapara upazila of Patuakhali.
The rescued two pythons were freed with the help of Forest Department in Lemburban area of Kuakata on Saturday.
Earlier, the two snakes were rescued when some people of the Bedey community collecting money from frightened people using the snakes in Kalapara town.
Rakayet Ahsan, team leader of Animal Lovers of Kalapara branch said that we rescued these two pythons from the snake charmers two days ago after local shopkeepers informed that some people from the Bedey community are asking money by scaring the snakes.
