Dhaka, May 31 -- Two people were killed and two others injured when a microbus collided with a CNG-run autorickshaw in Chattogram's Anwara upazila on Saturday morning.

The fatal crash occurred around 8:00am on the Anwara-PAB road in the Jhiuri area, according to Md Monir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Anwara Police Station.

"Two passengers of the autorickshaw died on the spot. Both victims were men, aged between 30 and 40," Monir said. Their identities had not been confirmed at the time of reporting.

All four victims were riding in the autorickshaw at the time of the accident. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision and working to identify the deceased.
