Dhaka, May 5 -- Railways Minister Md Zillul Hakim on Saturday launched two commuter trains on Dhaka-Bhanga-Rajbari route to ease the communication between the capital city Dhaka and Rajbari.
He introduced 'Bhanga commuter train' on Dhaka-Bhanga route and 'Chandrana commuter train' on Bhanga-Rajbari route in a programme at Shibchar in Madaripur, reports BSS.
In the inauguration ceremony, the minister said: "Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken up the plan to reach rail-communication system at people's doorsteps. We will launch another train on this route in the future."
Another train will be launched on Dhaka-Jashore route within the next two months, he said, adding that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to inaugurate the train. Th...
