Dhaka, Nov. 10 -- Two passenger buses were set on fire in Dhaka's Shahjadpur and Merul Badda districts early Monday, with no injuries reported.
The Fire Service and Civil Defence control room said the first blaze began around 5:40 am at the Bashhtala bus stand in Shahjadpur, targeting a Tongi-bound Victor Paribahan bus. Two firefighting units arrived and controlled the fire.
About 35 minutes later, at roughly 6:15 am, another Tongi-bound bus, this one from Akash Paribahan, was torched in front of BRAC University in Merul Badda. Two additional fire service units responded and extinguished the flames.
