Dhaka, Aug. 5 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has called on party leaders and activists-particularly members of the party's youth wing, Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal-to earn and uphold public trust as a cornerstone of leadership.
"Earning the people's trust is essential. If the public accepts you, you are a leader. If not, then you're not," he said during a virtual address from London on Monday.
He was speaking at a discussion titled "Anti-Fascist Movement and My Unspoken Words", organised by Jubo Dal at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), to mark the anniversary of the July-August Mass Uprising of 2024.
