Dhaka, Feb. 7 -- A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Chittagong Hill Tracts affairs minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, his wife May Hla Prue, and their children Ushwe Hai, Thowai Shai Wang, and May May Khing Venus.
The order was passed by Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain Ghalib on Thursday, following an application by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), reports BSS.
On the same day, ACC Assistant Director Md Abdul Malek filed a petition requesting a travel ban on the former minister and his family members.
Public Prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir argued in favour of the request.
