Dhaka, Oct. 28 -- British Deputy High Commissioner James Goldman found himself stuck in Dhaka's infamous traffic on Monday - but turned the moment into a lighthearted testament to the strength of the UK-Bangladesh partnership.
"Not even Dhaka traffic today can stop the UK-Bangladesh partnership," Goldman wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
ASM Marjan Nur, Climate and Environment Adviser at the British High Commission's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), said that when the traffic came to a standstill, he and Goldman decided to step out of their vehicle and walk roughly 2.3 kilometres - from the Mohakhali expressway area to the Panthapath Pani Bhaban.
