Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- The top 10 per cent of the population control 58.5 per cent of the country's total wealth, while the bottom 50 per cent hold only 4.8 per cent, according to Dr Rumana Haque, a member of the task force on Re-strategising the Economy and Mobilising Resources for Equitable and Sustainable Development.
