Dhaka, Sept. 24 -- Bangladesh-origin expatriate of London Toaha Abdullah Bin Kamal won one gold medal in World Karate Championship (WKC) at Crawley City in the United Kingdom on Monday. The World Martial Arts Union (WMAU) arranged the karate competition.Toaha captured gold medal in Individual Kumite event and earned bronze medal in Individual Kata Event. Besides, Ibrahim of Bangladesh gained a silver medal.

A total of 15-member team of Bangladesh took part in the Kata Events and Kumite Events. It may be mentioned that the World Martial Arts Union (WMAU) accorded reception to the 30 best coaches of the whole world.
