Dhaka, March 21 -- Using a love trap, a gang of criminals kidnapped one youth named Milon Hossain (23) from Maheshpur Bit Bazar area of Thankurgaon Sadar Upazila recently.
Unfortunately, the boy did not return home live though his father had paid Tk 25 lakh in ransom.
The District Detective Branch (DB) police recovered the body of Milon from the Shibganj Maheshpur Bit Bazar area of Jamalpul Union in Sadar Upazila.
DB police also arrested three people on suspicion of involvement in the incident. Later, based on the information provided by them, Milon's decomposed body was recovered.
During initial interrogation, the arrested youths confessed to killing Milon and taking a ransom of Tk 25 lakh. It is believed the kidnappers killed Milon as...
