Dhaka, April 18 -- Bangladesh Women's team were kept waiting to make an entry to World Cup (WC) after tasting a three-wicket defeat to West Indies (WI) in their fourth game of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers at Lahore City Cricket Association Ground on Thursday.
A victory in this match would have confirmed Bangladesh's participation to the World Cup with a game to spare but the defeat ruined that prospect. Still, Bangladesh top the point table, edging Pakistan by better run rate.
Bangladesh now need a victory against Pakistan in their last match but in case of defeat, they still would have the chance to make it World Cup had the other teams like West Indies or Scotland failed to maintain healthy run rate.
