Dhaka, July 14 -- Bangladesh thrashed Sri Lanka by 83 runs in their second Twenty20 International (T20I) match at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Sri Lanka on Sunday.

Batting first, the Tigers piled up a mammoth total of 177 for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs and then skittled out Sri Lanka for 94 off 15.2 overs.

Litton Das hit a captain's knock of 76. His 50-ball innings was belted with five sixes and one four. He was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding batting performance.

Shamim Hossain notched up a spectacular 48. His 27-ball knock was studded with five fours and two sixes.
