Dhaka, June 19 -- Bangladesh took command on the Day 2 in the first Test against Sri Lanka making 484 for the loss of nine wickets at Galle International Stadium in Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
Tigers resumed their first innings with the over-night score of 292 for the loss of three wickets. Bangladesh scored 423 for the loss of four wickets before the rain halted the second day play. Later, the second day play started as the field became playable for both teams.
Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim resumed their first innings with the over-night score of 136 and 105 runs respectively.
Shanto could add more 12 runs on the second day as he (148) was caught at the mid-off by Angelo Mathews off Asitha Fernando when Bangladesh's score was 30...
