Dhaka, Dec. 3 -- Bangladesh Cricket team clinched the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series 2-1 against Ireland Cricket team after defeating Ireland by eight wickets in the third and final T20I at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram, the port city of the country on Tuesday.
Earlier, Ireland registered an easy 39-run victory over Bangladesh in the first T20I at the same venue on November 27.
Then, the Tigers posted a four-wicket win over Ireland in the second T20I at the same venue on November 29.
Chasing Ireland's paltry total of 117 off 19.5 overs, the Tigers coasted home making 119 for the loss of two wickets when they had 38 balls to spare.
