Dhaka, Aug. 1 -- Tiger pressure has increased in the Sharankhola range of the Eastern Sundarbans. The normal movement of the forest guards is being disrupted due to the presence of tigers. Tigers attacked the Range headquarters twice in the past week.

On Friday last afternoon, 8/10 deer ran and died in front of the Range office after being chased by the tiger.

Earlier, on day, forest guards had to open blank fires at the Sharankhola Range office to chase away the tiger, according to a delayed report received here.
