Dhaka, April 7 -- Locals have rescued a mechho tiger from paddy field in Ishwardi. On Friday (April 5) afternoon, the tiger was rescued from a farmer's paddy field in Sadikandi village of Dashuria union of the upazila.
Locals said, after Friday afternoon, the mechho tiger was trying to enter the locality from the paddy field.
This spread panic in the area. Meanwhile, the farmers in the paddy field tried to catch the mechho tiger.
Farmers screamed and the locals gathered and managed to capture the tiger. At this time, hundreds of men and women gather to see the tiger.
Locals sent UNO Immediate Assistant Commissioner (Lands) TM Rahsin Kabir and Forest Department officer Ismail Hossain to the spot.
