Dhaka, Feb. 20 -- Adilur Rahman Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Housing & Public Works, has committed to implementing a road safety law in Bangladesh by 2027. He announced this initiative on February 19 during the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, taking place from February 18 to 20 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
The Bangladeshi government has already begun efforts toward this goal, which aligns with the National Road Safety Strategic Action Plan aimed at reducing road crash fatalities by 50% by 2030.
