Dhaka, Dec. 12 -- The participation in tenders through electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) has increased substantially since the newly-enacted Public Procurement Rules, 2025 (PPR, 2025) came into effect on September 28, 2025.

S. M. Moin Uddin Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer (Secretary) of the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA), said this while attending a workshop on the Public Procurement Rules (PPR), 2025 and electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) as the chief guest in Rajshahi today.

The BPPA organized the workshop at the conference room of Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi.

The workshop was managed by the Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs (BCCP), said a press release.
