Police detained a teenager named Shanto Das (16) for allegedly rapping an 4. 5 -year -old girl in Barhatta upazila of Netrakona.
Accused Shanton Das, son of Pranoy Das, was arrested from the fire service area of Barhatta sadar on Friday evening. Officer in Charge ( OC) Md. Kamrul Hasan confirmed this incident.
According to the victim's family and police sources, on Thursday afternoon, a quiet child from the Gopalpur Majhipara area of Barhatta was called to their house, raped and fled.
The child then went home in a bloody state and informed her mother and family about the incident.
