Dhaka, July 29 -- A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight en route to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, was forced to return to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday due to a technical issue detected during flight. The flight, BG-349, operated by a Boeing 777-ER aircraft capable of carrying around 450 passengers, took off from Dhaka at 3:33pm.
Roughly an hour into the journey, the aircraft turned back and landed safely in Dhaka at 4:33pm after the pilot received a cabin pressure warning, said Al Masud Khan, acting manager of Biman's Public Relations Department.
"As a precaution, the pilot decided to return to base to ensure passenger safety," he said.According to Masud Khan, all passengers were later transported to Dammam on a separate aircraft...
