Dhaka, Jan. 29 -- The government has approved a proposal to initiate the sale of essential commodities through trucks in Dhaka and Chattogram metropolitan areas, aiming to ease access for common consumers.
The decision was made during the 4th meeting of the Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs (ACCEA) held at the Cabinet Division conference room at the Bangladesh Secretariat today.Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Adviser to the Ministry of Finance, presided over the meeting, where the proposal received in-principle approval.
