Dhaka, March 6 -- Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) on Tuesday started selling of essential commodities through trucks in all 64 districts to ensure benefits for low-income groups.
In Tangail, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, TCB has started selling daily necessities to the low-income people in the district at subsidized prices.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Al Mamun inaugurated the program at the Shaheed Smriti Porudyan at 11 am today.
Upazila Executive Officer Nahida Akhter along with dealers and senior administration officials were present at the time.
