Dhaka, Nov. 24 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for individual taxpayers to file their income tax returns for the 2025-26 tax year by one month, moving it to 31 December. The extension was announced in a special order issued Sunday.
In a separate directive, the NBR said that taxpayers facing difficulties with e-return system registration may apply to their respective excise commissioners by 15 December, providing valid reasons for their inability to file online.
