Dhaka, June 29 -- After missing multiple series due to an ankle injury, Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed is set to make his return to international cricket in the upcoming limited-overs series against Sri Lanka, beginning July 2.
Taskin had been sidelined during Bangladesh's home series against Zimbabwe, as well as away fixtures against Pakistan and the UAE.
He sought medical treatment in England, leaving uncertainty around his comeback timeline. However, all doubts were cleared as Taskin was named in Bangladesh's ODI squad for the Sri Lanka series and departed for Colombo on Saturday with the rest of the team.
Speaking to the media at the airport, Taskin expressed his eagerness to return to the field and contribute to the team's success....
