Dhaka, Dec. 29 -- In a quietly symbolic moment, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Sunday visited the party chairperson's Gulshan office for the first time since its establishment after the political changeover following 1/11, marking both a homecoming and a renewed engagement with the party's organisational centre.
Tarique arrived at the office around 1:40pm from his Gulshan Avenue residence, according to BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
He was received by senior party leaders, including Standing Committee members Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, who welcomed him with a bouquet.
