Bangladesh, Jan. 30 -- A court has banned Kaushik Hossain Taposh, Managing Director of private television station 'Gaan Bangla', from leaving the country. It has also ordered the seizure of income tax documents of Taposh and his wife Farzana Munni.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Faiz issued the order on Thursday (January 29) in response to two separate applications from the ACC.

Bench Assistant Md Riaz Hossain of the concerned court gave this information. SI Mehedi Hasan of the police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) filed two separate applications.

The petition states that money laundering investigation is ongoing against Taposh.
