Dhaka, Dec. 3 -- Promising opener Tanzid Hasan of Bangladesh made world record taking five catches in a Twenty20 International (T20I) match. Tanzid is the only fielder of a Test playing country who bagged five catches in a T20I match. He earned this feat against Ireland in the third T20I match at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on Tuesday.
Tanzid Hasan started his campaign after taking a catch of Gareth Delany at the backward point from a delivery of Rishad Hossain.
Tanzid Hasan captured his second victim after receiving the catch of Mark Adair at the long-on from a delivery of Mustafizur Rahman.
