Dhaka, July 6 -- Tanvir Islam produced a sensational bowling performance, grabbing a five-wicket haul, as Bangladesh bounced back strongly to defeat Sri Lanka in the second ODI by 16 runs and level the three-match series 1-1 in Colombo.
Batting first, Bangladesh showed early promise despite a shaky start. After losing two wickets cheaply, Towhid Hridoy and Parvez Emom put together a steady partnership. Emom was aggressive during the powerplay and brought up his maiden fifty before falling to a brilliant googly from Wanindu Hasaranga.
