Dhaka, Dec. 6 -- Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam of Bangladesh has been nominated the International Cricket Council (ICC) Player of the Month Award of November. ICC is the highest governing body of world cricket. Taijul played the key role to win against Ireland in the two-match Test series against Ireland at home recently. Taijul Islam captured altogether 13 wickets of Ireland.
His average was 26.30. He was adjudged the Player of the Series for his outstanding performance. Taijul Islam is now the highest wicket-taker of Bangladesh. He captured 250 wickets playing 57 Test matches. If he will get the award, he will be the fourth Bangladeshi, who got ICC Player of the Month Award.
