Dhaka, Jan. 26 -- The annual election of the Sylhet District Tax Lawyers Association-2025 has been completed with great enthusiasm. The voting was held without interruption from 9 am to 4 pm on Thursday (January 23) at the association's office in Mendibagh in the city. Out of the 287 members of the association, 243 members elected their representatives in the election. A total of 12 candidates contested for 6 positions in the election. In the election, Sirajul Hussain Ahmed (Alamgir) was elected as the president, Md. Shafiqul Islam as the vice-president, Muhammad Fazlur Rahman Shipu as the general secretary, Ajit Kumar Roy as the joint secretary-01.
