Dhaka, Oct. 25 -- Senior Secretary of the Land Ministry ASM Saleh Ahmed today said that the surveyors are the key persons of the land service as they conduct survey of the lands.

"Accurate survey is essential for proper use of land, its preservation and determination of ownership. Land surveyors do this job, making them most essential workforce for the land services," he said. The land secretary said this while addressing a reception accorded to newly appointed surveyors of the land management wing at Bhumi Bhaban here today.

Bangladesh Management Surveyors Association organized the reception and cultural function-2025. The government recently appointed 205 surveyors for the land department and out of them 196 joined the service today. ...
