Dhaka, Nov. 16 -- Rajshahi Division's Sunzamul Islam shone with a century on the opening day of the fourth round of the National Cricket League (NCL), a day largely dominated by bowlers across venues nationwide on Saturday.

Primarily known for his bowling, Sunzamul hit 112 off 181 balls, including 13 boundaries, to steer Rajshahi to 275 against Dhaka Division at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium. Coming in at No.3 after openers Sabbir Hossain (17) and Tanzid Hasan Tamim (7) fell early, Sunzamul rescued the innings from a precarious 24-3.

He forged crucial partnerships, adding 50 runs with Captain Towhid Hridoy (32) and 70 with Sabbir Rahman (47), before guiding the lower order.
