Dhaka, Dec. 6 -- Summit LNG Terminal Co (Pvt) Ltd (SLNG) has celebrated recently the completion of its 250th Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer, marking a major operational milestone for the country's first offshore LNG terminal.
During the 2024-25 financial year alone, the facility supplied around 13 percent of Bangladesh's total gas demand.
Since its commissioning in April 2019, SLNG has received 35,054,637 cubic metres of LNG and supplied about 785,549,295 MMBTU of regasified LNG (RLNG) to the national grid.
The company expressed appreciation to Excelerate Energy LP and PSA Marine, Singapore for their support in ensuring safe and uninterrupted STS and terminal operations.
