Dhaka, Oct. 13 -- Students of Dhaka University and Dhaka College clashed over allegedly setting up a makeshift shop on footpath in the busy New Market area late Sunday.

However, no report of injuries was found though both sides pelted brickbats and stones targeting each other, creating panic in the area. DU student Imran said that the clash erupted around 1am and continued till 2:30am when they barred a few students of Dhaka College from setting up the makeshift shop in front of their Shahnewaz Hostel in the New Market area.
