Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- Students from the seven colleges affiliated with Dhaka University have announced new plans to surround New Market Police Station if the police officers accused of attacking their peers are not brought to justice and withdrawn within the next 24 hours.

The announcement was made on Monday evening at a gathering held at the Shaheed Minar of Dhaka College. The students also issued an ultimatum to take action against Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr Mamun Ahmed within the same timeframe.
