Dhaka, April 24 -- Students of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have spent two nights on hunger strike. On the second day of the hunger strike, Wednesday morning, Education Advisor Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar came to exchange views with the students on hunger strike, but the students refused to do so again.

Meanwhile, two students fell ill during the two-night hunger strike and were sent home. When the mother of another student fell ill after hearing about her son's hunger strike, her classmates also sent her home.
