Dhaka, April 18 -- Twenty two students have been expelled for cheating during the SSC and Dakhil examinations in Cumilla, while two others have been jailed for illegally distributing answer scripts.

Md Touhidul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) of Cumilla, reported that 11 SSC examinees were expelled during the English Second Paper exam, and another 11 Dakhil students were caught cheating in the mathematics exam held on Thursday.

Additionally, two exam invigilators at a centre in Barura Upazila were removed from duty for their involvement in exam-related irregularities.
