Dhaka, Dec. 24 -- Various streets and alleys in the town of Srimangal in Moulvibazar have now become temporary garbage dumps.
Pedestrians, students, teachers, guardians, businessmen, and the general public are becoming sick of the putrid stench of garbage dumped in these places every day.
The garbage dump in the College Road area, in particular, has been one of the city's problems for a long time. There are educational institutions, shops, and houses next to that location.
Locals complain that despite demands for relocation over the years, the municipality and the administration have not taken any effective initiative.
